What Happens at the Festival
The festival includes beach sports competitions, cultural performances, youth art activities, and food stalls featuring coastal cuisine and local crafts.
Beach Sports
Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kusti, Tug of War, and other athletic competitions held on the shoreline, encouraging participation from colleges, clubs, and local communities.
Cultural Performances
Traditional dances, folk art displays, and live music that highlight the cultural identity and heritage of the coastal region.
Youth Competitions
Art, sand art, photography, and creativity-based contests designed to promote student talent, expression, and skill-building.
Food & Local Stalls
Coastal cuisine, snacks, handmade crafts, and local products, with 50+ stalls supporting small businesses and community groups. Visitors can explore and enjoy the authentic flavors and creativity of the region.
Evening Gatherings & Live Shows

Supporting Tapasya Palliative & Hospice Care
The Mangaluru Beach Festival is aligned with a meaningful community cause. Funds raised from the festival will support Tapasya, a public charitable trust in Mangaluru dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and life-limiting illnesses.
Funds raised from the festival will directly help complete and operate this centre, ensuring children receive care and comfort during treatment.
